Vineyard Notes
Chardonnay (Dijon Clone 76, 95, 96)) from Block 2 of our original Meadowbrook Vineyard and Block 1 of our managed Cold Brook Vineyard. These vines grow in Legore Gravelly Loam and Penn-Channery Silt Loam soil in east-west orientation and varied slope. Farmed sustainably: no irrigation, no tilling.
Production Notes
Hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed and racked to neutral French Oak barrels and 33% new Acacia wood. Barrel fermented and aged for 10 months, stirred on lees every 4 weeks. No fining, light filtration. Under 30 ppm sulfites added prior to bottling. 98 cases produced.
