2022 Reserve Cabernet Franc
An intriguing balance of power and elegance with flavors of savory tobacco, ripe plum, and a hint of baking spice backed by velvety tannins. Hand-picked Cabernet Franc from our oldest vines is air-dried on racks to 70% its weight, concentrating sugar, acid, and flavor. The dried grapes are fermented on skins for up to four weeks, gently pressed, and then transferred to a lightly toasted French Oak barrel. This aged wine is blended with the best barrel of our estate Cabernet Franc.

Vineyard Notes
Cabernet Franc (Bordeaux Clone 312, Loire Clone 214) from Block 1 of our original Meadowbrook Vineyard and Block 2 of our managed Cold Brook Vineyard. These vines grow in Califon Sandy Loam and Penn-Channery Silt Loam soil in varied orientation and slope. Farmed sustainably: no irrigation, no tilling.
